HOW DO I CONFIRM MY APPOINTMENT? We’ll send you a friendly SMS reminder at least 48 hours before your appointment. This message will give you the chance to confirm with just a tap. You’ll also receive an email with all the details. If something comes up and you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as you can. Life happens—we get it—and we’ll do our best to help you reschedule. But here’s the catch: if we don’t hear back from you after trying via text, email, or voicemail, we’ll assume you’ve ghosted us. In that case, we may have to cancel your appointment and offer it to another client on our waitlist (they’ll be thrilled, but we’d rather see you!)
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE? Arriving 5 minutes early is perfect. If your stylist is still finishing up with the client before you, we’ll happily offer you a refreshment while you settle in and flip through a magazine (or just scroll in peace).
CHILDREN AND PETS We’re happy to welcome children and even the occasional pint-sized pet—but please be mindful of other guests trying to enjoy their visit. Kids must stay with you at all times—salons can be exciting, but also full of sharp tools, hot equipment and lots of hair flying about! Basically: we’re not a playground. | GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME Colour is a science (and sometimes a little magic), so allow yourself enough time to get the results you really want. If you’re in a rush, things can get stressful—and when that happens, we can’t guarantee our usual level of excellence. We take pride in every strand and don’t believe in racing through appointments. After all, we’ve yet to win a medal for “Fastest Hairdresser in the Southern Hemisphere”—and we’re okay with that.
COVID SAFETY Yes, COVID’s still around, so for everyone’s safety: • Please don’t attend if you’re unwell or have any symptoms (cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat). • Don’t come if you’ve tested positive, are waiting on test results, or plan to get tested. • Let us know ASAP if you need to reschedule. • Feel free to use our hand sanitiser when you arrive—it’s there for everyone’s peace of mind.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I JUST DON’T SHOW UP? We’re a small, boutique salon that puts a lot of love into making sure every client gets time, care and attention. When someone doesn’t show up or cancels last minute, it leaves a big gap—not just in our schedule, but in the heart of a stylist who was excited to see you. And while we try to be flexible and understanding, we also know there’s a waitlist of clients who would’ve loved that appointment spot. So, moving forward, we’ll be taking deposits for all new clients and for extra-long appointments. This helps keep things fair and ensures your spot is secured. Of course, the deposit comes off your final bill—think of it as a down payment on fabulous hair.
